WORCESTER City are set to unveil their new home and away strips later today.

Carnival queen, Jenni Francis, will model the new-look City kit at a launch with manager, John Barton, at St George's Lane.

Club players and officials will then take part in an open top bus parade to celebrate City's Dr Martens League Cup success, which will culminate in a civic reception at the Guildhall.

The open top bus leaves St George's Lane at 5.15pm and arrive at the Guildhall at 5.45pm.

Meanwhile the city council's new Labour group leader, Coun Adrian Gregson, has called for City's cup success to be used as a springboard to relocate the club from St George's Lane.

"We congratulate the club on their success and join with everybody in wishing them continued success next season," he said. "In addition we hope this success could be a further boost to relocating the ground which we in the Labour Party fully support."
