BROADHEATH CE won the Malvern round of the Worton Rock National Kwik Cricket Festival last week and go on to represent the area at the County finals at Malvern Ramblers ground next Tuesday (June 19).
Broadheath defeated Powick A in the final and the losing semi-finalists were Tenbury Primary and Great Malvern.
Sixteen teams took part in the mixed eight-a-side event which included teams from Hanley Swan, Malvern Wyche, Madresfield, Lindridge, Broadwas and Kempsey.
County Cricket Board kwik cricket co-ordinator Chris Willetts said: "Kwik cricket is a springboard for youngsters to learn about the game."
