THE latest round of matches in Division One of the PRS Summer League saw Alcester continue their improvement with a 4-0 demolition of a weakened Tanworth A side.
Alcester dominated a one-sided match which leaves Tanworth A languishing at the bottom of the table.
Two other sides struggling for points this season met at Campden, where the visitors were Littleton A.
Their first pair of Sean Witheford and Dave Rudge won both their matches convincingly, but Campden fought back, winning the other two to leave the match all-square.
Stratford B, meanwhile, confirmed their credentials as potential champions, winning 3-1 at last year's title holders Studley A.
The reigning champions are finding it more difficult this year and their first pair had to dig deep to earn a point in the match, winning a close three-setter 7-5 in the third.
These results leave Inkberrow A at the top with 15 points, one ahead of Stratford B and three ahead of Alcester.
