IF all the pensioners in the land worked together, they would be able to have the link between state pensions and earnings restored.
Everyone should write to MPs, no matter to which political party they belong.
Also, more pensioners should turn up for rallies organised by the Pensioners National Convention, because numbers count. Look how the Government took notice of the Countryside Rally, because of numbers.
If all pensioners, who are able, turned up to theses rallies, then the Government would have to take notice because numbers count.
After the 75p rise in pensions in the year 2000, pensioners were up in arms, and they were taken notice of, because of the vigorous protests.
Indeed, the "Grey Vote" told the government what they thought in the local elections, and look at the effect of that!
Does anyone know of a branch of the PNC in or around Worcester or Worcestershire?
