THE appeal launched by the Three Counties Agricultural Society (TCAS) to help farmers in difficulty as a result of the foot and mouth crisis has so far raised £13,600.
The appeal will culminate with the Three Counties Summer Show on August 17-19 which is being organised after the cancellation of traditional June Three Counties Show.
Sharon Gilbert, for TCAS said: "We are also organising a number of smaller events running up to the August show and we are confident when everything is wound up we shall have a good amount to distribute."
