WYRE Forest's new MP Dr Richard Taylor was able to read about his stunning success at the polls within hours of his election thanks to the Shuttle/Times & News.
We were first to bring readers a comprehensive round-up of interviews and pictures from Thursday's historic election result in Wyre Forest.
Our eight-page General Election Special was being given away free on the streets of Kidderminster at 8.25 on Friday morning - less than six hours after the result was announced.
Our editorial team worked through the early hours to put together the special issue and 10,000 were given away free across the district.
Editor Clive Joyce said: "There were one or two technical snags along the way but we achieved everything we set out to do.
"Some outlets, unfortunately those in Bewdley and Stourport, had to wait until just after 9am for their copies but it was a fantastic team effort by everyone involved and we have had very good feedback from readers."
He added: "Although we were concentrating on our special edition, we did not forget the many thousands of Shuttle/Times & News readers on the internet.
"Our website was updated with interviews and pictures before 6am.
"And the site also provided a rolling results service bringing election news from all over the country.
