A DIGGER worth £7,000 was stolen from a Kidderminster industrial estate by thieves who raided another compound for a trailer to tow it away.
Police say security camera footage captured the thieves breaking into Geoff Hand Automotive Engineering to take the £1,200 blue steel car transporter trailer at about 1pm on Sunday, June 3.
They then attached it to a dark green or blue Austin Montego and loaded up the one-and-a-half ton Schaefe HR12 mini digger which had been taken from Complete Roofing Services.
Kidderminster Police spokeswoman Caroline Schubert urged anyone with information to call 01562 820888.
