CONCERT pianist Marcel Zidani is set to perform in aid of the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust.
Marcel, who lives in Bengeworth, will perform on Saturday at 7.30pm at All Saints Church in Evesham.
The 27-year-old started his musical career as a trumpet player before moving onto the piano, which he studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire for five years.
"I have mainly played in Birmingham and the Midlands," he said. "I have never played anywhere around here."
The concert features works by Beethoven and Liszt and tickets for the event cost £5 and are available from the Evesham Book centre in Library Arcade or on 01386 45567.
Saturday's event will act as an introduction to Marcel's work for Evesham audiences, who will be able to see him again later in the year.
Sue Sollis said: "It is a taster for a concert in the autumn at the arts centre with the Cheltenham Philharmonic."
