THERE was more bad news for Labour in the county council elections with the loss of six seats to Independent Health Concern, Liberal Party and Conservatives candidates, slashing the number of Labour councillors on Worcestershire County Council from 21 to 15.
Independent Health Concern took four seats from Labour, and the Liberal Party Focus Save Our Hospital one, while in Habberley and Blakebrook, Conservative candidate Louise Edginton beat the former councillor for the ward, Nigel Knowles, by 56 votes. Health Concern also gained a further seat from the Conservatives in the Rock and Bewdley ward.
