REGARDING R H Hawker's letter (You Say, June 2) I would say that no, Mr Michael Foster should not plant a tree outside the Worcestershire Hunt Kennels.
The hunters used a charity to gain publicity for their cruel sport and to try and discredit Mr Foster. Tim Pinney says that the people of the Countryside Alliance will never forgive him for causing the loss of jobs in the countryside. What nonsense. They should change to drag hunting.
May I suggest that R H Hawker and friends plant a tree in memory of the countless wild animals that have been subjected to fear and pain over many years of hunting.
B A MATTHEWS,
