A NEW £26,000 Morgan car straight from the factory awaits the winner of a raffle run by the British Heart Foundation.
The classic motor car was made available to the charity as part of its 40th anniversary, after a chance meeting in a hotel.
"I met a guy in the Great Malvern Hotel," said Rod Goddard, the Malvern representative for the BHF.
"He had a Morgan on order but decided that he didn't really want it, so I offered to take it off his hands. We approached Morgan, and they thought it was a great idea."
Under normal circumstances, there is a waiting list of several years to anyone wanting a Morgan.
Tickets for the draw are just £1 each, available by calling freephone 0800 169 3672. The winner will be announced at the Barbican, London in December.
