IN REPLY to Andrew Lewis's letter in the Malvern Gazette of June 1, maybe Mr Lewis you should 'get things into perspective'.
Homeless dogs do not choose this way of life and rely entirely upon human kindness, this quality, it seems, has by-passed yourself. Sad as it is 'homeless young' are still around, even in this civilised society - very questionable, what has happened to family values?
I myself have always supported MHHYAT Foyer when raising monies via flea markets in Geraldine Road and Malvern Winter Gardens.
Society will always be around to offer support, which I wholeheartedly applaud, so don't be so mean spirited when genuine kind people are doing their best to rehome unwanted and very often ill-treated dogs who are strays through no fault of their own. Without animal rescue shelters life would be very bleak for many of these unwanted animals.
