THE Shuttle/Times and News editorial team will be working through the night to produce a special eight-page edition on the Wyre Forest General Election result by 8.30am today.

It will include interviews with the winner and losers and will be packed with photographs from tonight's count at Wyre Forest Glades.

The result is expected at about 2.30am and we will be pulling out all the stops to make 10,000 copies of the Shuttle Election Special available in just six hours.

They will be handed out FREE in Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley from 8.30am and can also be collected from our Blackwell Street office in Kidderminster.

Editor Clive Joyce said: "There has been unprecedented interest in this election, both in the district and nationally, and we aim to be telling our readers the result within hours rather than waiting until next Thursday's issue.

"We will, of course, be providing our usual comprehensive coverage on the reaction to the election result in next week's newspaper and our team will also be updating our website in the early hours tomorrow."

He added: "It will be quite a feat for a weekly newspaper and as we are working to a tight schedule, we are hoping a recount will not be needed."

Outlets distributing our election special are: Kidderminster - Sainsbury's, Safeway, railway station kiosk, Kidderminster College, Beck the Flower, Bells, RA Davies, Rowland Hill Centre, Gainsborough House Hotel, Franche Co-op. Bewdley - Co-op and Spar in Load Street. Stourport - Co-op, Stourport Photo Centre, The Wash House.

Copies will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis, so you will need to be quick off the mark if you want to get in on the action!
