THE county's "unsung heroes" will have their qualities recognised during National Carers' Week, which starts next Monday.
Members of the Worcestershire Association of Carers is organising two "pamper days" and two free pub lunches for carers.
The "pamper days" will give them the chance to be the ones being looked after, with the opportunity to sample alternative therapy treatments.
Ten Worcestershire carers have also been awarded a free holiday - a week-long break at Pontin's, Blackpool, later this month. They were organised by the Prince's Royal Trust for Carers in association with Littlewood's Pools and the Football League.
"Carers too often miss out on breaks because of their caring responsibilities, and we were delighted when ten of our carers were lucky enough to get places," said Kath Cheer, principal officer of the Worcestershire association.
"Carers' Week is always an opportunity to raise awareness and find hidden carers, and this holiday is a particularly nice way of celebrating carers."
