FORMER England star Dave Sims will be missing from the Worcester Rugby Club line-up when the National One leaders face Exeter Chiefs at Sixways on Saturday (3pm).
The 31-year-old has become a father for the third time this week and has been given the weekend off to be with his wife Jill and their new family addition Anthony.
The consistent performer, who has only missed one game for Adrian Skeggs' side this season, is replaced by Richard Denhardt in the only change from the side which beat London Welsh 51-3 in Worcester's last league outing.
Sixways' director of coaching has been impressed with the recent performances of Cameron Mather and Mohamed Benbouhout in Warriors matches but has resisted the temptation to change a winning team.
He said: "It is very difficult to make changes from a side which performed so well against the Welsh but a few players have really been pushing all the way for a recall.
"That is what a squad system is all about and it keeps the players on their toes and makes sure they do not become comfortable."
Worcester: Calder; Tuipulotu, Murdoch, Keil, Bromley; Va'a, Jarman; Windo, Lamerton, Hartland, Denhardt, Zaltzman, Evans, Broughton, Fryday. Reps: Benbouhout, Mather, Carter, Hall, Langkilde, Yapp, Simpson-Daniel.
