NICK Baxter has been handed the chance to revive his Worcester Rugby Club career after winning a recall to the side facing Otley on Saturday (2.15pm).

The 27-year-old, whose contract is up in the summer, has found himself frozen out of the Sixways line-up for most of the season but after impressive displays in Warriors matches and in training, the winger is back in the number 11 shirt.

Baxter, now in his seventh year at the club, is ready to pay back the new faith shown in him by director of coaching Adrian Skeggs.

"I am just very happy to be back in the side and hopefully I will not let anyone down," said Baxter. "I am 100 per cent and just cannot wait to get back on the field."

Baxter replaces Spencer Bromley, while the other changes to the side, which beat Exeter 25-6 at the weekend, see scrum-half Richard Jarman dropped with Chris Simpson-Daniel coming in and Dave Sims returns in place of Richard Denhardt at lock.

Worcester: Calder; Tuipulotu, Murdoch, Keil, Baxter; Va'a, Simpson-Daniel; Windo, Lamerton, Hartland, Sims, Zaltzman, Evans, Broughton, Fryday. Reps: Collins, Hall, Webster, Carter, Langkilde, Yapp, Jarman.

Meanwhile, the Warriors enjoyed a comfortable 38-11 victory at Neath last night. Scott Barrow bagged a brace of tries while Greg Meredith, Tony Yapp and the impressive Cameron Mather were among the try scorers.

Chief Executive Geoff Cooke said he was happy with the display despite Neath putting out a very inexperienced side.

He said: "This was a good performance and our forwards in particular were very impressive."
