A WOMAN who loved her garden so much she took it with her when she moved house has re-opened it to the public.

Lindsay Randle's cottage garden, which took 10 years to create, was moved several hundred yards to its current location, a feat which involved transplanting a 12-year-old cherry tree and using heavy lifting gear to hoist a Victoria plum tree over a hedge. The garden, at Low Habberley, Kidderminster, has attracted national interest including a spot on TV's Gardener's World, a feature in a national newspaper, as well as a splash in this month's issue of House Beautiful.

She is opening her garden under the National Gardens Scheme, which raises money for charity, through June on Wednesdays only, from noon to 7pm.
