STOURPORT angler Richard Carter caught a 32lb catfish with sausage bait on the Erics Lake at Shatterford Fishery.

Over 30 catfish were caught there last week, the largest weighing 32lb 8oz.

A 13-year-old angler landed three carp to 17lb 12oz on strawberry boilies off the Erics and a mirror carp fell to boilies on the Stuarts.

An estimated bag of 60lb of carp and bream were taken on maggots from Stella, which yielded several bags of 40lb-50lb.

The trout angler of the week landed 22 to 2lb 8oz on a daddy long legs on the dam wall of the Masters.

Also on the Masters, 18 to 3lb 8oz were caught on a Shatterford Special and 15 to 2lb fell to a viva on the Wyre Dell.

There has been good fishing on all coarse waters with weights recorded from 35lb to 63lb.

The angler-of-the-week landed 64.5lb of mixed fish, the best a 7.5lb carp, taken from the Cuckoo, using catmeat and sweetcorn bait.

Poole Hall Fishery, Heron Pool: Tim Jones extended his lead in the Aggregate Cup with his third win of the season.

His catch of mainly silver fish taken on maggot totalled 22lb 12oz.

Ken Hall was second with 9lb 4oz of roach.

An 11-year-old newcomer, James Forster, did well to catch 2lb 12oz.
