AN 81-year-old woman had her handbag snatched on her doorstep in a night-time swipe.
The pensioner of Talbot Street, Kidderminster, was about to enter her house last Friday at 10pm when the thief struck. She was shocked but unhurt by the bag-snatch.
The thief, who sped off on his bicycle towards Brinton Park, is described as a white male, aged about 20 of slight to thick build, between 5ft 7 and 5ft 10.
He had short bushy, black hair and was wearing light coloured clothes.
The bag contained two bus passes, a bottle of brandy, £11 in small change and a trifle. Anyone with information should call Kidderminster Police on 01562 820888.
