VOLLEYBALL: A fundraising fun tournament on Saturday will raise cash for a cause close to the heart of Cleobury Mortimer Volleyball Club coach Carl Brookes.
The six-a-side competitions is for friends and family of club members at Cleobury Sports Centre from 1pm to 4.30pm.
It is the beginning of a 27-hour fundraiser as they make cash for the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital's Neo-natal ward.
Leah Brookes, daughter of Carl and wife Becky, was given only a 15 per cent chance of survival when born 16 weeks prematurely.
After weighing in at 1lb 8oz, the youngster stayed in the ward for 18 weeks with her family visiting every day before coming home.
There will also be a 24hour Volley-athon by club members from 5pm on Saturday until 5pm the following day.
