A CREDITABLE 240 runs was not enough for Victoria Carpets/Blakeley Hall who lost at home to Rushwick in Worcestershire League Division Three fixture.
The villagers reached their target with an over and two wickets to spare to leave Victoria third from bottom in the table.
Paul Thomas (68) and Simon Gallagher (40) were the top scorers as the Kidderminster club were asked to bat first.
In reply, the Victoria attack, depleted by injury, could not contain the Rushwick batsmen, apart from David Mitchell who claimed three wickets.

It was Rushwick's day in the second team match as well as Victoria never threatened the home target of 214-6.
Holt top scored for Rushwick with 78no but Paul Brookes bowled a marathon spell and was rewarded with four wickets.
Wicket-keeper Tom Sherriff took three catches with a competent performance behind the stumps.
Only Adrian Miller (32) came to terms with the Rushwick attack, opening bowler Ricketts bowling 13 overs with figures of 5-21.
