REDDITCH Orchestra's next concert is an evening devoted to the music of Worcestershire's most famous composer, Edward Elgar.

The concert is at St Stephen's Church on Saturday, June 9, and includes the Violin Concerto, Overture Froissart and Enigma Variations.

The soloist in the Violin Concerto will be Tom Pigott-Smith (pictured), who started playing the violin aged six and won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music. He will be joined by guest conductor Charles Renshaw.

Tickets cost £5, £4 (concessions) or £12 for a family of four from the Tourist Information Centre or on the door.
