THE wheels are in motion for the best value review of sports facilities in the district to get under way.
Members of Bromsgrove District Council's cabinet are tonight due to be presented with a report in preparation for the review this year.
The authority's draft baseline statement outlines the current position and councillors are being asked to approve it so the review process can move forward.
Sports facilities are managed by the authority's leisure services department which is also responsible for parks, open spaces, heritage, tourism, sports and arts development, and the Spadesbourne Suite.
Sites which come under the spotlight include the Dolphin Centre, in School Drive, and Haybridge sports centre, in Hagley.
The report looks at resources, competition, budget, costs and customer profile.
The public meeting starts at The Council House, in Burcot Lane, at 6pm.
