ANIMAL-LOVERS in Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa should be careful their pets don't annoy their neighbours, according to a recent survey.
The poll, carried out by pet insurers, Primary Direct, discovered that 11 per cent of homeowners in the West Midlands find their neighbour's cat or dog the most annoying factor.
Pets can often make a nuisance of themselves by digging up gardens, being noisy or generally encroaching on your fellow neighbour's space.
Primary Direct have put together a number of tips to make sure that your pet's antics don't put you in the bad books of fellow residents.
These include taking the time to settle your pet into the neighbourhood, secure your garden so your animals can't escape, and if another resident does complain, try to point out a positive aspect of keeping the animal - like a reduced risk of burglary.
