An 18-year-old Greenlands man was sent to a young offenders' institution for four weeks after being convicted of a string of offences by Redditch magistrates.
David Barratt, of Granhill Close, was convicted of failing to attend an appointment at Youth Court, attempting to steal after entering a house as a trespasser, three counts of theft and failing to surrender to custody.
