Britain's economy can prosper outside the European Union.

Britain at present trades globally, the fact we are now the fourth largest economy in the world confirms this.

Although the UK is in the EU, we thankfully are not in the single currency, as Germany and France are.

Our unemployment is half of theirs and Britain receives more worldwide inward investment than all of the other EU countries put together.

The real truth is we can prosper outside the EU completely. Norway is outside the EU with a thriving economy.

Remember, also, we joined the forerunner to the single currency, the exchange rate mechanism (ERM). As a result, this country lost thousands of jobs and small businesses. So much for incompetent politicians knowing what's best for us.

But at the end of the day, why should Britain allow itself to be absorbed into a political union, which is what a single currency was designed for in the first place.

It is better to stay a democratically independent country.

We have more in common with the dollar than the over-regulated Euro.

The pound shadows the dollar, not the sickly Euro, which has lost more than 20 per cent of its value since its launch with its ultimate single tax rate, single interest rate, single army, single anthem, single legal system, single police force and, ultimately, a single undemocratic federal dictatorship with its own written constitution.
