STUDLEY husband and wife team Claire and Mike Dagnall limped home joint last in the Embassy Challenge angling event in Spain.
Former Ladies National Champion Claire landed a 6.1kg carp on the second day but it was not enough as the Midland Match pair finished on 17 points.
Claire finished 19th on the reservoir and 10th on the river with Mike 20th and 18th.
Essex pair Chris Vandervleit and Gary Miller won the event at the Riba roja Reservoir.
