REDDITCH Arrows coach Chris Halford said matches against Cheshire Romans and Nottingham Caesars hold the key to a place in the play-offs.
The Division One newcomers opened the season with two defeats to table-topping Gateshead Senators, the latest a 12-0 reverse at home on Sunday.
But Halford says a 4-4 record could be enough to earn a wild card spot in the end of season play-offs for Redditch's first season back in the top flight.
The Arrows have the chance to record their first win of the season at their adopted Kings Norton Rugby Club home on Sunday with Cheshire the visitors (ko 2.30pm).
Arrows are missing line backer Stephen Jones, wide receivers Pete Morgan and Rhodri Evans and defensive back Ricardo Vieira through injury.
