REDDITCH lost by five wickets at Pelsall in a match not short of controversial decisions.
The visitors were put into bat on a damp pitch where openers Guy Muspratt (15) and Steve Juckes (14) put on 35 for the first wicket.
Jason Morgan (36), Spencer Cox (29), Nev Entwhistle (29 not out) and a class 53 from Jeff Russell eased Redditch to 212-6 off their 55 overs.
In reply, Pelsall lost an early wicket, then their professional Asad made the most of his good fortune with 87, and Green (46) put the hosts on a victory trail completed by five wickets.
Jeff Russell (2-32) with Nev Mason (1-64) and Dave Apperley (1-16) took the wickets.
