ALVECHURCH and Hopwood captain Nick Jones has backed his side to win promotion from Worcester Three despite a start which has yielded just one win from five.
The Birmingham Road side recorded a winning draw against lowly Himbleton on Saturday, their third draw of the campaign.
Teenage pace ace Andy Fisher and Darren Reck are gunning for a scalp at the league leaders on Saturday (2pm start), but Jones is looking to bolster his batting at the expense of his extensive bowling options.
Captain Jones is unavailable on Saturday along with Willy King.
