ASTWOOD Bank continued their impressive start to the Worcester Two season with a comfortable seven wicket win over Eastnor.

Seamer Andy Clayton stole the show with four wickets in as many deliveries to finish off the visitors for 130.

Ian Bowes, with an early wicket, and a Paul Boycott run out gave the league leaders their platform and Steve Clarke knocked an unbeaten 69 as Bank raced to their target.

And the Sambourne Lane side, promoted from Division Three last season, are on course for a surprise promotion.

Astwood visit an Evesham side on Saturday (2pm start) whose mid-table position belies their strength.

Batsman Stefan Jagielski is out on Saturday but Robinson hopes to welcome back all-rounder Sam Churchley from university and left arm quickie Chris Houghton.
