REDDITCH Amateur Theatrical Society's summer production of Alan Bennett's farcical comedy Habeas Corpus begins tomorrow.
It is essentially a celebration of the English obsession with class, sex and death and features characters such as the lecherous Canon Throbbing, charlady and narrator Mrs Swabb, Lady and Felicity Rumpers, Sir Percy Shorter and the sexually frustrated Wicksteeds.
Habeas Corpus will be performed at St Luke's Memorial Hall, Evesham Road, Headless Cross, from tomorrow until Saturday.
Performances take place at the Headless Cross venue from 8pm and tickets cost £4, £3.50 (concessions) or £10 for a family of four from Lyn on 521086.
