THE Ring O'Bells pub in the Holloway, Droitwich, is competing in The Punch Pub Cup, the UK's biggest inter-pub five-a-side football tournament, this weekend.
The Midlands action kicks off at the Powerleague five-a-side centre at Salford Stadium, Lichfield Road, Birmingham, at 1pm on Sunday June 10.
Forty-one teams from pubs across the region are taking part, with the heat winners and runners up progressing to the final on Sunday June 24.
More than 200 teams have entered nationally and the overall winners will receive the Punch Pub Cup trophy and a cheque for £1,000.
Geoff Brown, head of marketing for The Punch Pub Company, said: "A lot of hard work has gone into making the Punch Pub Cup a success and we are delighted so many of our pub operators have decided to get involved."
