ELECTIONEERING can be bad for your health.
That was the lesson for one county council candidate after his trip to hospital last week with a broken leg.
Tom Wareing, Conservative candidate for Crabbs Cross, was leafletting behind Evesham Road near Harry Taylor First School when he took a tumble and fractured his left fibula.
Mr Wareing drove himself home to Winyates Green after the tumble before finally making it to hospital when he realised the extent of his injury.
