KIND-hearted volunteers have been thanked by the Cancer Research Campaign.
The district's charity fund-raisers have appealed for help in their aim to rally more support and raise more money in the next 12 months.
Cancer Research Campaign director general Gordon McVie said: "This year the campaign will spend £67 million on research projects all over the UK - that's £5 million more than last year. The extra money is crucial to enable our doctors and scientists to produce work of the highest international standard.
"Someone has to raise it for them and that's where volunteers are so crucial."
Anyone who would like to work for the charity in Wyre Forest should call senior fund-raiser Graham Bogden on 0121 212 1707.
