NINE out of 20 large general election billboards put up by the Tories on approach roads to Bromsgrove were smashed during a single night.
District councillor Ted Tibby (Whitford), Conservative candidate Julie Kirkbride's agent said: "It was a night of orchestrated vandalism, not by someone with high spirits."
To add insult to injury one of the eight foot by four foot posters erected on wooden frames that was targeted by the vandals was in the grounds of the Unionist Club in Kidderminster Road.
Cllr Tibby said the attacks happened during the night of Tuesday, May 26.
All the posters were on private land.
One at Norton Farm in Birmingham Road had been singled out for a previous attack.
The police have been informed he added.
