POLICE are appealing for witnesses after one teenage girl was seriously injured and another received minor injuries following a road collision.

At around 4.44pm on Tuesday a red Volkswagen Golf and two 13-year-old girls were in collision in Pershore Road, Evesham - outside the Total Petrol Station.

One of the girls was taken to Ronkswood Hospital, Worcester, with suspected serious head injuries. She was later transferred to Birmingham Children's Hospital.

On Wednesday morning doctors sais he condition was 'critical but stable'.

The second girl is believed to have received minor leg and arm injuries and was taken to Evesham Community Hospital.

A third girl, who was not involved in the collision, was also taken to Evesham Community Hospital, where it is believed she was treated for shock.
