PROPOSALS are afloat to reschedule Worcester Rowing Club's Regatta.
Saturday's event was scrapped due to a poor level of entries but organisers hope to combine it with the veteran and junior event, which is already planned for September 9.
The new date would incorporate Saturday, September 8, in addition to Sunday's races.
Worcester's regatta fell victim to a rival event at Eton College's Dorney Lake and the cancellation of the Hereford and Monmouth regattas on the Bank Holiday weekend due to foot-and-mouth.
