ATHLETICS: Steve Smith has recorded two second places for Kidderminster Running Club in recent events.
At the Worcestershire County Track and Field event at Stourport, he took the silver medal in 16 minutes 23 seconds.
And on Sunday he crossed the second at the Hereford Half Marathon in one hour 16-37 and first for the club.
Gary Bonner competed in the 100 metres and 400 metres at the county event, finishing in 13-01 and 2-14 respectively.
Also in the Hereford race were Tom Kenderdine, second for the club in 1-18-57 and seventh overall, Bonner 1-30-0 and Mike Hudson 1-48-45. Over 300 took part.
