A YOUNG Kidderminster woman was killed when the car she was driving collided with one travelling in the opposite direction in Redditch.
Rachel Sugden, 23, of Marlowe Close, was driving a red Ford Fiesta XR2 along the A4189 from Henley-in-Arden to Redditch about half-a-mile from The Dog pub when the collision with a Volkswagen Golf GTI happened shortly before 9pm on Sunday.
The Golf driver, a 46-year-old man from Warwick, was taken to Redditch's Alexandra Hospital with a broken leg while the Fiesta's passenger, a 32-year-old man who has not been named, was taken there and later released.
