LES Pearce is the new Malvern & District Singles Pool champion after he whitewashed local professional pool player Shaun Daly 4-0 on Saturday evening at The Cross Keys.
Previous champion Daly wilted as Pearce produced some excellent pool. Les and Shaun will collect their silverware on Sunday, May 27 at the Cross Keys Inn at the annual Presentation Awards for Pool.
Also on that evening trophies for all league winners and runners-up, averages and internal cup competitions (7's) will be presented. There will also be a buffet and disco which all start at 7.30pm.
This Sunday (May 20) is the Killer 7's final between Supergrass and The Baliff's.
In the semi-finals the Grass crew saw off the strong challenge of Mad House 4-3 and The Baliff's saw off the Super League champions The Kreugers 4-2.
