IF you're at least nine years old and interested in trying your hand at one of the most ancient sports known to man, then you'll be pleased to hear that the Malvern Archers beginners course is about to begin.
Malvern Archers shoot at the Manor Park Trust in Great Malvern during the outdoor season, and this is where the lessons are held. The course lasts for six weeks (one lesson a week), during which you will be shown all the basic elements of shooting.
One member came along to the course two years ago, and now she is the West Midlands and Worcester-shire Outdoor champion!
