RAMBLERS gained a fine victory over Droitwich in the first round of the Sun Life U15's Knock Out.

Droitwich were pinned down by some accurate bowling from the opening pair of Mackichan and Prosser. Hipwell, Hacking and Bayliss all contributed fine spells while Cullen took two stumpings to help Hooper post figures of 3-3. Ramblers were left a target of 46.
The opening pair of Hooper and Prosser started confidently until the latter was bowled with the score on 18. Three fours in quick succession by Knapper then helped see Ramblers home with Hooper unbeaten on 21.
