Mamble's Norman and Jo Hall were too good for the rest of the field in the Duplicate Tournament.
Only Catherton's Steve and Sally Clifton offered competition to the accurate play of the club champions.
The previous week former club champions Charles and Vera Smith of Highley turned up the heat on their opponents to cruise to a comfortable Duplicate Tournament victory.
Bewdley's John and Louise Bywater missed no slams and deserved their second place ahead of Richard and Julia Lawrence.
The club plans to continue through the summer and would like to hear from players who would like to play either competitive or social bridge.
