PEOPLE living in Habberley Road, Bewdley, are to get their windows cleaned for free until the dust settles on a huge housing development being built nearby.
David Wilson Homes has promised to provide window cleaning for about 90 houses.
The pledge came after residents complained about dust and grime from the building work.
Stephen Clee, Worcestershire county councillor for Chaddesley Corbett, persuaded the company to lay on a free weekly clean until the work has finished after being approached by worried residents.
Land is being developed around Warstone House, and Mr Clee said Habberley Road folk have been "living and breathing dust day and night".
