STUDLEY manager Mark Chambers is hoping his players will return to action fully refreshed after a rare break from football.

Some of the Bees players had been in action five times-a-week as Studley and Sunday sides struggled to clear their backlog of fixtures.

Now Chambers hopes that a six-day break will have revitalised his side in their chase for the Midland Combination Premier Division title.

He said: "That rest should have done us all the world of good. We had looked jaded against Feckenham and Burman Hi-Ton because there had been ro real respite.

"With no game on Saturday, and with the Sunday side for whom many of the players play also having a free week, everyone has been able to have a good rest."

Studley travel to Meir KA tonight (ko 7pm) before playing host to Northfield Town on Saturday.

The Bees' title rivals Nuneaton Griff are also in action tonight, at Alvechurch (ko 7.45pm).

And Church manager Mick Preece will have to face last year's champions without skipper Matt Pugh who is on holiday and will miss the remainder of the season.

The Griffs game will the first of seven in eight days for Church.
