I DO not see the logic in John Hinton's remark that our one frigate in service has equal firepower to the whole Grand Fleet at Jutland.

Any potential enemy today will also have modern-style firepower.

Furthermore, one lone frigate can only be in one place at a time.

It can only attack from one direction at a time, and on the basis of John Hinton's remarks, one well-aimed torpedo into that one lonely frigate would not only destroy the equivalent of the Jutland Grand Fleet but our entire navy.

It's an intolerable situation.
