THE first heat of an exciting new talent competition to spot the young stars of tomorrow kicks off at the Palace Theatre on Saturday.
Rodgers and Payne present Reach for the Stars at the Alcester Street venue at 2pm, which will be compered by Sue J Willis.
All types of acts are welcome and vocalists are invited to sing a maximum of two songs, with eight minutes allocated for any other type of act.
Application forms are available from the box office and tickets cost £3.50 or £3 (disc rate) from 65203.
