A NOVEL information and play day for parents and children alike will take place in Redditch on Friday when Worcestershire County Council's Children's Information Service brings a Playbus to the Civic Square outside Redditch Town Hall.
Children who come along between 10am - 4pm can enjoy the upstairs play area of the bus while parents can receive a wide range of useful advice from the Children's Information Service.
Information on playgroups, nurseries, childminders and out-of-school clubs will be available, as well as advice on holiday playschemes, help for lone parents and general childcare needs.
Balloons, stickers and leaflets will be given out on the day.
Redditch is the second stop for the playbus which is due to tour around the country over the coming weeks.
