RUBERY runner James Nickless hasn't let his GCSE revision affect his racing performances.

The Waseley Hills High School pupil is already competing in a four session H2 GO Endurance Challenge in front of Great Britain coaches at Loughborough Univer-sity, after he was selected to compete from 40 athletes in the Midlands.

The 16-year-old also won two golds in the Worcestershire County Championships in Stour-port over the weekend. His success came in the 1,500 metre steeplechase and the 1,500 metres.

The Halesowen Athletics Club star is also competing in the McDonald's League, where he won the 800m, finished second in the 1500m and came second in the 4x400m relay at Nunnery Wood.

His next big test comes this Sunday in round two at Nottingham.
